WATER PUMP

AWP ; Auxiliary Water Pump
SMART offers a range of Auxiliary Water Pumps (AWP) and Electric Water Pumps (EWP) designed to provide reliable and efficient coolant circulation for modern automotive thermal management systems.
AWP — Auxiliary Water Pump
Function
An Auxiliary Water Pump (AWP) provides additional coolant circulation to support the vehicle’s primary cooling system. Depending on the application, it can maintain coolant flow during engine
warm-up, after-run cooling, cabin heating, turbocharger cooling, and other applications requiring independent or supplementary coolant circulation.
SMART’s AWP Advantages
-
Reliable Coolant Circulation: Provides consistent coolant flow to support effective thermal management.
-
Efficient Operation: Designed to deliver the required flow rate with optimized energy consumption.
-
Durable Construction: High-quality materials and robust components provide reliable performance under demanding operating conditions.
-
Wide Application Range: Suitable for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, heavy-duty applications, and other systems requiring auxiliary coolant circulation.
-
Rigorous Testing: Each pump is tested for flow performance, durability, leakage, and reliable operation under various operating conditions.

EWP; Electric Water Pump
An Electric Water Pump (EWP) circulates coolant independently of engine speed, providing precise and flexible thermal management according to the vehicle’s cooling requirements.
Unlike conventional mechanically driven water pumps, EWPs can operate on demand, allowing coolant flow to be adjusted according to engine temperature, load, and other operating conditions. This helps improve cooling efficiency during engine warm-up, high-load operation, and after-run cooling.
Electric water pumps are also an important component of modern hybrid and electric vehicle thermal management systems, where precise and independent coolant circulation is required for systems such as batteries, power electronics, electric motors, and other thermal circuits.
SMART’s Manufacturing Excellence
SMART Electric Water Pumps are manufactured using carefully selected materials and precision-engineered components to provide reliable cooling performance, durability, and efficient operation.
Each pump undergoes comprehensive testing to verify flow rate, pressure, electrical operation, thermal cycling, sealing performance, and durability under demanding operating conditions.
Key Features
-
Independent Operation: Provides coolant circulation independently of engine speed.
-
On-Demand Cooling: Enables flexible coolant flow according to thermal management requirements.
-
High Efficiency: Supports optimized coolant circulation and efficient energy use.
-
Reliable Performance: Designed to withstand thermal cycling, vibration, pressure, and demanding operating conditions.
-
